Shopping
In Maspalomas, there is a great variety of shopping centers, food stores, restaurants, bars, pubs and discotheques all aiming at tourists.
You can choose between a mix of souvenir shops and boutiques at centers like Jumbo Center or S.S Cita, or big food stores like Mercadona or Hiperdino, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. There are also a number of small shops in the surroundings.
There is Tablero Shopping Center a few minutes away by taxi, with several great sports and clothes stores, and a few restaurant and bars. Also, there is Varadero Shopping in Meloneras, next to the Lighthouse ”El Faro”, with views to the open sea and a great beach promenade.
Opening hours in most shops are from 10.00 am to 10:00 pm every day.
25/12, 1/1 and 6/1, most shopping centers and shops are closed.
Beware of what you bring home, especially souvenirs made of plants or animals and pirate copies. Learn more here.
